Santa Ana, CA (February 19, 2024) – A bicyclist died as a result of a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday morning in Santa Ana. The Santa Ana Police Department and area firefighters were notified of the collision at around 4:00 a.m. on February 17.

According to reports, a vehicle was heading northbound on Bristol Street during the early morning hours. As the vehicle passed through the area of Bolton Avenue, it struck a bicyclist who was traveling east. The bicyclist was fatally hurt in the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained on site and cooperated with law enforcement. No other injuries were reported. The accident is under investigation.
