Los Angeles, CA – Two CHP Officers Injured in Crash on 405 Freeway
Los Angeles, CA (February 18, 2024) – An automobile accident reported in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood on Friday evening resulted in injuries. The incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. on February 16.
Preliminary investigations show that California Highway Patrol troopers were attempting to pull over a stolen Kia Optima on the 405 Freeway during the evening hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the area near the off-ramp by Sepulveda Boulevard and Ventura Boulevard, it became involved in a collision. Two officers were injured as a result of the crash. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
