Huntington Beach, CA (February 23, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in the Stockton area claimed one man’s life. The Huntington Beach Police Department was called to the accident at approximately 10:00 p.m. on February 21.

According to police reports, a 67-year-old man was struck by a gray 2021 Tesla Model Y on Beach Boulevard near Williams Drive. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the man with severe injuries. He was subsequently pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as Johnny Lee Davis. The Tesla driver, a 33-year-old man, remained at the scene and spoke with law enforcement. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
