El Cajon, CA – Car Crash on 8 Fwy near 70th St Leaves One Injured

El Cajon, CA (February 20, 2024) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident reported on Tuesday morning in El Cajon. The California Highway Patrol troopers were notified of the crash at around 12:15 a.m. on February 20.

According to reports from law enforcement, two vehicles collided on the eastbound side of 8 Freeway. The incident caused disruptions near the entrance to 70^th Street. Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the accident due to damage. One person involved in the accident was injured. Emergency medical services were called to the crash site to care for the injured victim before transporting them to an area hospital. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
