San Diego, CA – Officer Hurt in Hwy 94 Crash at 805 Fwy
San Diego, CA (February 20, 2024) – At around 1:00 a.m. on February 19, officers with the San Diego Police Department were called to the scene of a car crash involving an officer that ended in injuries.
Reports provided by authorities show that a police officer was engaged in a person on the eastbound side of California State Route 94 during the morning hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the area of the Interstate 805 connector, both of the vehicles were involved in a collision. Three people were hurt as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the crash site to care for the injured victims. The officer and two additional people were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
