San Diego, CA – Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Old Highway 80

San Diego, CA (June 5, 2024) – A fatal motorcycle accident reported in the San Diego area on Monday evening claimed one person’s life. The San Diego Police Department responded to the scene at around 5:45 p.m. on June 3.

According to official reports, a 54-year-old man was riding a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on Old Highway 80. As he continued down the roadway near Interstate 8, the vehicle collided with a Toyota Corolla, driven by a 78-year-old woman making a left turn into a parking lot. The motorcyclist was fatally injured in the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene. The 78-year-old woman was injured and transported to a hospital in San Diego for care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
