Northridge, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Vehicle on Tampa Ave

Northridge, CA (April 16, 2024) – During the early morning hours on Monday, April 15, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident that occurred in the Northridge area and claimed one person’s life. The incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m.

Reports show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 8800 block of Tampa Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities discovered the victim with severe injuries. Despite EMS rendering aid to the victim immediately on the scene, the victim ended up passing away due to the severity of the injuries they suffered. The involved vehicle, identified as possibly a white Chevrolet van, fled the scene of the accident. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
