Los Angeles, CA – Person Killed in Collision at I-10 W & Overland Ave

Los Angeles, CA (April 7, 2024) – One person lost their life in a motor vehicle accident reported in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, April 7. Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident at around 2:00 a.m. According to official reports, a three-vehicle collision occurred on the westbound side of the Interstate 10 Freeway. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway near Overland Avenue.

Four people were injured as a result of the accident. The victims received medical treatment at the scene. Before being transported to area hospitals for further treatment. The victims were identified as a 20-year-old female, two 15-year-old males, and a 31-year-old female. One person was fatally injured as a result of the accident and pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
