Los Angeles, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Car Crash on S Western Ave

Los Angeles, CA (April 3, 2024) – A hit-and-run accident reported on the west side of Los Angeles sent one person to an area hospital with injuries. The incident occurred at around 12:50 a.m. on April 3.

According to official reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was traveling in a wheelchair near South Western Avenue and West Imperial Highway. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the crash without stopping. The pedestrian was injured in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident to care for the victim. The injured pedestrian was then transported to the Harbor – University of California at Los Angeles Medical Center for emergency treatment. No other injuries were reported. The incident is currently under investigation.
