Los Angeles, CA (August 26, 2024) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a car crash in South Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene at around 11:15 a.m. on August 26.

According to official reports, a motor vehicle accident occurred on South Broadway. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately shut down the roadway near West Manchester Avenue. Delays were reported throughout the area as emergency officials remained on site. Emergency medical services briefly cared for the injured victims at the scene before transporting them to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
