Balboa Park, CA – Woman Killed in Car Crash on Florida Dr
Balboa Park, CA (March 14, 2024) – A 67-year-old woman lost her life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in Balboa Park. The incident took place just before 230 p.m. on March 13.
Reports provided by the San Diego Police Department show that a 2014 Toyota Sienna van was traveling northbound on Florida Drive. For unknown reasons, the vehicle drifted across the center lane and collided with a 2009 Subaru Forrester in the 3000 block of the roadway, which was traveling south on the road. The driver of the Subaru, identified as a 67-year-old woman, was severely hurt. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries. The incident is being investigated.
