Bakersfield, CA – Two-Vehicle Wreck on Hwy 178 Ends in Injuries
Bakersfield, CA (March 12, 2024) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a car crash in the Bakersfield area on Sunday evening, March 10. The crash was reported on Highway 178.
According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, a black Audi A4 and a silver Ford Mustang collided on the highway between Haley Street and Mount Vernon Avenue. The incident prompted the closure of the road. Authorities arrived on-site and located the Audi resting on the median. Multiple westbound lanes were closed as crews worked to clear the scene. One person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
