Auto Accidents in California
Car accidents occur daily in California, often forcing victims to deal with severe consequences. Unfortunately, there are many instances where individuals endure spinal cord injuries, severe fractures, and internal organ damage due to the recklessness of certain drivers. Common factors contributing to car accidents throughout California each year include:
- Disobeying traffic signals: When drivers disregard red lights at intersections, the likelihood of colliding with nearby vehicles significantly increases. This behavior is a primary cause of T-bone accidents at intersections throughout the state.
- Failure to yield: Drivers neglecting to give the right of way, whether exiting driveways, departing parking lots, or changing lanes, can result in serious accidents, causing life-altering injuries requiring extensive medical attention.
- Impairment: When drivers enter the roadway while drunk or under the influence of drugs, there is a heightened risk that they will lose control of their vehicles and crash into others.
- Reckless lane changes: Drivers who switch lanes in an unpredictable manner risk colliding with other vehicles or losing control, leading to severe accidents that leave those involved severely harmed.
