Bakersfield, CA (April 5, 2024) – A bicyclist was transported to an area hospital with injuries as a result of an automobile accident that was reported on Wednesday evening, April 3.
At around 830 p.m., a bicyclist was riding in the area of South Real Road and Wilson Road in Bakersfield. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle, which was passing through the intersection. The bicyclist, who has not been identified to the public, was injured in the accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to care for the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for further medical care and evaluation. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
