Glendale, CA – Pedestrian Killed in San Fernando Rd Train Crash
Glendale, CA (April 10, 2024) – One person has lost their life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in the Glendale area on Tuesday morning, April 9. Authorities were notified of the incident at around 10:00 a.m.
According to official reports, a Lancaster-bound Metrolink train, identified as the AV Line Train 209, was traveling through the area of San Fernando Road and Brazil Street during the morning hours when it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was severely injured as a result of the crash. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased as a result of their injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
