West Puente Valley, CA – One Killed in Puente Ave Car Crash

West Puente Valley, CA (February 17, 2024) – One person lost their life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred early Friday morning in West Puente Valley. The California Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters were called to the crash site at approximately 4:40 a.m. on February 16.

According to area law enforcement reports, a collision took place on Puente Avenue at the intersection of Cagliero Street. The incident prompted authorities to close down the intersection while assisting. Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to care for injured victims. At least one person was fatally injured and pronounced deceased by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office at the scene. Emergency medical services tended to injured victims before transporting those in need of further care to area hospitals. At this time, investigations are underway.
