Santa Clarita, CA – Four Hurt in Truck Wreck on 5 Fwy at Calgrove Blvd

Santa Clarita, CA (July 1, 2024) – Several victims were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a major truck accident that occurred on Sunday, June 30, in Santa Clarita. The California Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters were called to the collision scene just before 4:40 p.m.

Police reports show that a large truck and one additional vehicle collided on the 5 Freeway. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking the road near Calgrove Boulevard. Officials immediately shut down the roadway while working to remove the involved vehicles. A total of four people were hurt as a result of the accident. The victims were transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for emergency medical treatment. California Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating the crash.
