Santa Ana, CA – One Killed, Two Hurt in S Main St Crash

Santa Ana, CA (April 22, 2024) – The Santa Ana Police Department responded to the scene of a fatal accident that occurred on Sunday morning, April 21. Calls for assistance were received at around 2:00 a.m.

According to official reports, an automobile accident took place on the 800 block of South Main Street in the early morning hours. A pickup truck was involved in the accident when it got off the roadway and struck a pole. Three people were injured in the crash. All three victims were treated briefly at the scene and transported to area hospitals for emergency medical care. A female passenger died from her injuries after arriving. The driver involved in the accident was later arrested for vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and suspicion of DUI causing death. The incident is currently being investigated.
