San Diego, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on 50th St at El Cajon Blvd
San Diego, CA (May 4, 2024) – The San Diego Police Department confirmed that one person lost their life as a result of a pedestrian accident that occurred in the Colina Del Sol neighborhood of San Diego. The crash was reported at around 9:10 p.m. on May 2.
Police reports show that a 44-year-old male pedestrian was walking in the 4900 block of El Cajon Boulevard near 50th Street when they were struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was severely injured in the crash. The pedestrian was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where he died from his injuries. The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 20-year-old man, was not injured in the crash. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
