Los Angeles, CA – Crash on Sand Canyon Rd at Sierra Hwy Takes One Life
Los Angeles, CA (May 12, 2024) – The California Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters responded to the scene of a fatal accident that occurred on Saturday evening in Los Angeles. The incident was reported in the Newhall neighborhood.
Preliminary reports show that at around 11:20 p.m. on May 11, a white SUV and a pickup truck collided on Sand Canyon Road near Sierra Highway. Authorities confirmed that the pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the accident. One person involved in the crash was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
