La Habra, CA – Crash on Cypress St near Whittier Blvd Ends in Injuries

La Habra, CA (February 13, 2024) – The Le Havre Police Department confirmed that two people were injured as a result of a car crash involving a police chase that started around 10:30 p.m. on February 9.

According to police reports, authorities were notified of an erratic driver in the area near Harbor Boulevard and Whittier Boulevard. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the vehicle. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, resulting in the driver attempting to flee the scene. As the police pursuit proceeded through the area of Cypress Street in Whittier Boulevard, the police vehicle crashed into a car at the intersection. The police officer and the driver of the second vehicle were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
