Gardena, CA (October 10, 2024) –A motor vehicle accident involving a hit-and-run driver took place in the harbor gate weighed section of Gardena that ended in injuries. The collision was reported to the Los Angeles police department at around 6:30 a.m. on October 10.

Police reports show that a black SUV and an unknown number of vehicles collided on West El Segundo Boulevard near South Menlo Avenue. The SUV, identified as a Buick, came to rest in the center of the road. One of the involved vehicles fled the scene of the crash. Emergency medical services were called to care for injured victims and transport them to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
