Burbank, CA – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on N Third St

Burbank, CA (April 22, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported outside of the Burbank Empire Center claimed one person’s life. The incident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. on April 21.

Reports from the Burbank Police Department show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 200 block of North Third Street. The pedestrian, a 71-year-old man, was located in the parking lot near Krispy Kreme and Sephora. The victim was severely injured as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services provided care to the victim. However, he passed away from his injuries while at the scene. The driver of the involved car remained on site. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
