Brentwood, CA – Injuries Reported in 405 Fwy Crash near Getty Center Dr

Brentwood, CA (July 12, 2024) – A wrong-way driver caused a severe accident in the Brentwood area that resulted in injuries. The incident took place at around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 11.

Reports from the California Highway Patrol indicate that a pickup truck was traveling northbound on the southbound side of the 405 Freeway. As the vehicle proceeded through the area near Getty Center Drive, it collided with at least one additional vehicle. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles. Firefighters and the Highway Patrol troopers immediately shut down the road. Firefighters went to work quickly on extricating at least one person who was trapped in their vehicle. Paramedics treated the injured victims and transported those who required further medical care to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
