Bakersfield, CA – Woman Killed in Crash on Harris Rd at Ashe Rd

Bakersfield, CA (March 28, 2024) – A woman lost her life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Wednesday evening in the Bakersfield area. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 4:55 p.m. on March 27.

According to reports from the Bakersfield Police Department, a black Volkswagen was traveling west on Harris Road. For reasons unknown, it collided with a black Mini Cooper and a red Honda in the area near Ashe Road. One woman involved in the accident was severely hurt. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she passed away from her injuries. Additional victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries. At this time, the accident is under investigation.
