Bakersfield, CA – Truck Wreck with Injuries on Hwy 58
Bakersfield, CA (April 12, 2024) – One person was injured as a result of a truck accident that occurred in the Bakersfield area on Wednesday morning, April 10. The California Highway Patrol and area firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around two a.m.
According to official reports, a big rig and an unknown number of vehicles collided on the westbound side of Highway 58. As a result of the accident, the semi-truck crashed into a center divider near Tehachapi Boulevard. The incident resulted in a major fuel leak, prompting the closure of the highway. One person was injured as a result of the accident. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
