Car Accidents in California
Car accidents occur every day in California. Far too often, innocent people are hurt as a result of negligent and reckless drivers. We see many accidents on our roads occur as a result of drivers who are drunk, distracted, or engaging in other reckless actions. These and other reckless actions can cause severe accidents that leave victims with devastating injuries. In many cases, victims have to undergo significant medical treatment to attend to their injuries. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that any amount of medical care will result in a full recovery. There are thousands of people who are left permanently disabled following auto accidents on our road each year.
If you have been injured as a result of a car crash, and you believe another person’s negligence played a role, you must seek legal representation from our Bakersfield DUI accident lawyers right away. There may be legal options available to help you seek financial compensation for your losses and damages moving forward. This can include recovering compensation for:
- Medical expenses
- Lost wages
- Rehabilitation costs
- Emotional distress
- Property damage

- Loss of companionship
Taking timely legal action will ensure you have the best chance of protecting your rights and getting justice. When it comes to filing personal injury claims, California follows a comparative negligence system in car accident cases. Under the system, each party to the accident can be assigned a percentage of fault, and the compensation they receive is adjusted accordingly.
