Bakersfield, CA – BPD Officer, Two Others Hurt in Collision on Brundage Ln
Bakersfield, CA (March 15, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported early Wednesday evening in the Bakersfield area sent multiple victims to area hospitals with injuries. The accident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on March 13.
According to official reports, a Hyundai sedan was traveling east on Brundage Lane. As the vehicle made a left turn towards Highway 58 at Liggett Street, it collided with a Bakersfield Police Department patrol vehicle. The two vehicles came to rest blocking the roadway. The police officer and two additional victims were injured as a result of the accident. All three victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
