Pedestrian Accidents in California
Being involved in a pedestrian accident can be quite devastating. Unfortunately, more than a thousand people are killed, and thousands more are left injured as a result of these accidents in our state every year. In many cases, pedestrian crashes are a result of negligent drivers. Leading factors in these accidents include:
- Running red lights or stop signs
- Distracted driving
- Poor visibility
- Failure to yield
- Speeding
Unfortunately, these and other careless actions contribute to a significant number of pedestrian accidents across our state. - Traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
- Dislocations
