If you are involved in a car accident, it is important to understand the different types of compensation available to help cover the expenses you may face. Victims of accidents may be entitled to compensation for medical costs, such as hospital bills, medications, and rehabilitation services. In cases where the at-fault driver’s actions were particularly reckless or displayed a blatant disregard for safety, punitive damages may be awarded to serve as a warning and deterrent for future behavior.
