San Diego, CA – Two Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Rumex Ln at Park Village Rd
San Diego, CA (September 12, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the San Diego area left two people hurt. Will collision took place at around 5:50 p.m. on September 11.
According to the San Diego Police Department, two women were in a crosswalk located in the 8500 block of Rumex Lane near Park Village Road. As they attempted to cross the roadway, they were struck by a vehicle that was making a westbound turn onto Park Village Road at the intersection. One woman involved in the collision was severely hurt. She sustained injuries to her lungs, ribs, collarbone, skull, and brain. The woman and the second pedestrian, also an adult female, were transported to area hospitals for emergency treatment. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
