Los Angeles, CA (August 19, 2024) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a pedestrian crash in Central City East, Los Angeles.
At around 840 p.m. on August 16, emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash on East Cesar E Chavez Avenue. Official reports show that a pedestrian was walking in the 800 block of the roadway. For unknown reasons, an SUV traveling through the area struck the pedestrian. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the injured victim and the involved silver SUV on the roadway. Emergency medical services immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian.
