Los Angeles, CA (July 8, 2024) – At around 8:35 a.m. on July 8, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department assisted firefighters at the scene of a car crash that occurred in the Southeast Los Angeles neighborhood.
Reports from authorities indicate that a motor vehicle collision occurred on South San Pedro Street. The incident prompted authorities to shut down a portion of the roadway near East Gage Avenue for a significant amount of time. Police and firefighters worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Paramedics tended to the injured victims on-site. An unknown number of people were transported to local hospitals for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
