San Diego, CA – Two-Vehicle Wreck on Friars Rd Ends in Injuries
San Diego, CA (June 2, 2024) – On May 31, the San Diego Police Department and local firefighters were called to the scene of a car crash that sent three people to area hospitals with injuries.
At around 5:15 p.m., a 2008 Toyota 4Runner was heading westbound in the 6000 block of Friars Road. As the vehicle proceeded through the area near Gaines Street, an 87-year-old man in a 2017 Infiniti attempted to make a left turn at the intersection. The two vehicles collided, and three people were hurt. The injured victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care. Traffic division officers are currently investigating the crash.
