Los Angeles, CA – Woman Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on W 111th St
Los Angeles, CA (April 4, 2024) – A female cyclist lost her life as a result of an accident that occurred in Southeast Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, April 3. Just after 11:45 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident that occurred on West 111th Street.
According to official reports, a woman was riding a bicycle on the roadway near South Broadway when she was struck by a vehicle. The victim was severely hurt in the crash. The fire department and EMS responded to the scene and immediately began performing CPR on the victim. Despite medical efforts, the woman ended up passing away as a result of her injuries. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the crash is being investigated.
