Bakersfield, CA – Teen Struck, Killed by Vehicle on River Rd
Bakersfield, CA (March 7, 2024) – A 15-year-old male lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday evening, March 5. The Bakersfield Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at approximately 9:40 p.m.
According to local news sources, two teenagers were riding a gas-powered bicycle on River Road near Skyline Avenue during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle became involved in a collision. The two teenagers were injured in the accident. Both victims were transported to Kern Medical for emergency care. Authorities confirmed that the 15-year-old male passed away from his injuries after arriving. The incident is under investigation.
